ANN ARBOR, MI – The Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (TheRide) is expanding service, extending service hours, and expanding FlexRide Night and Holiday Service beginning Sunday, August 25, 2024. These service expansions are thanks to the voter-approved millage from 2022 and are part of TheRide’s Long-Range Plan. In addition to expanded service, TheRide is introducing a new route – Route 67, which, in partnership with Route 6B, will replace Route 24. “TheRide has been working hard since the approved millage in 2022 to prepare to execute the expanded service to our customers,” Forest Yang, Deputy CEO of Planning and Innovation said. “We’re proud of our extended service hours and additional frequency of routes and thank voters for supporting valuable, reliable transportation for our community.”
