Local Advisory Council

Advising the Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority on services offered to seniors and persons with disabilities.

The Local Advisory Council (LAC) advises the Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority on services for seniors and persons with disabilities. The LAC discusses proposals and makes comments and recommendations about services, which are then shared with the AAATA Board of Directors for consideration prior to determining the proposals.

LAC Executive Committee Officers are appointed by the AAATA Board. The Executive Committee is comprised of 6-10 members total, with at least two members aged 60 years of age or older and at least two members who have a disability.
