TheRide's Board of Directors guide and control the agency through written policy. They focus on building a brighter future for our riders and our agency as a whole. They also ensure that we uphold the values of our community.
The Board is comprised of 10 members, serving 5-year terms: 8 members from the City of Ann Arbor, one member from the City of Ypsilanti, and one member from Ypsilanti Township. The Board and Committees meet monthly.
The Board of Directors follows the Policy Governance model. Policy Governance is a common model for Board governance that we have adapted to suit the needs of our agency.
