As of May 3, The DDA, in partnership with TheRide and the City of Ann Arbor, began a construction project on 4th Ave. to improve pedestrian and transit amenities between William and Liberty Streets. Due to the significant construction, 4th Ave. is completely closed, and the Blake Transit Center is closed to the public.

Sales at the Blake Transit Center have ended. A temporary sales location is available:

There is no indoor waiting at the temporary sales location, and no public restrooms. There are throne restrooms available throughout the area.
Route 29 is temporarily suspended during the 4th Ave. construction. TheRide will operate a more frequent Route 26 schedule to accommodate this change. Update 5 (6/1/26):
As of Monday, June 1, the downtown D2A2 and Michigan Flyer Ann Arbor stops have moved to E. Washington Street between State and Division streets due to 4th Ave. construction. Learn more about the D2A2 and Michigan Flyer Ann Arbor stop relocation.
Update 4 (4/16/26):
As of April 25, sales will end at the Blake Transit Center to prepare for the upcoming relocation. Fare can instead be purchased at the AAATA Main Office, YTC, or through EZFare. Starting May 3, a temporary sales location will be available at 314 E. Washington St.
