SERVICE CHANGES FOR ROUTES 2 & 4 AND NIGHTRIDE SERVICE GO INTO EFFECT ON 1/29/12

Route 2: from Downtown
Trips that leave the Central Campus Transit Center at 4:15pm & 5:04pm will change from 2B to 2A routing. Timepoints will be adjusted accordingly.

Route 4: to Ann Arbor & to Ypsilanti
Monday - Friday peak-hour and mid-day service will alternate to provide service to the U-M Medical Center and to the Central Campus Transit Center.

  • 4A trips will serve the Medical Center
  • 4B trips will serve the Central Campus Transit Center
  • Service will be increased Monday – Friday as follows:

  • Mid-day – four trips per hour in each direction (service every 10-20 minutes)
  • Peak Hours – eight trips per hour in each direction (service every 5-10 minutes)
  • 4C trips which operate only between the U-M Medical Center and US-23 will be discontinued.

    NightRide
    NightRide late-night, shared-ride taxi service will be expanded to include the portion of Ypsilanti between Clark/Huron River Drive on the north and Ellsworth/Michigan Avenue on the south, east to Huron Street as shown on the map below.

    All trips on NightRide must have both their origin and destination within the following areas:

  • The City of Ann Arbor
  • The area east of Ann Arbor shown on the map below
  • All trips must begin and/or end in Ann Arbor (west of Carpenter Road)
